“The View” co-host Joy Behar got some pushback from fellow co-hosts after she said the media isn’t covering President Donald Trump’s health like they did former President Joe Biden’s health, with Sara Haines noting Behar sounds the alarm daily.

“The media does not cover Trump the way they covered Joe Biden,” Behar said.

Behar’s claim followed the co-hosts’ discussion about Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and his return to Congress for a vote this week after several months away due to a fall he had in June.

Haines said there was a contrast for Biden and argued, “Trump has always sounded like this.”

“He moves all over to the point where you don’t remember what the original question was,” Haines said of the president.

She also said that Biden “once sounded normal,” and that there was a noticeable contrast for the former president.

“No, no, no, no,” Ana Navarro jumped in.

“He falls asleep in basketball games, he falls asleep behind the Oval Office. His ankles are the size of cacti. His hands are purple,” Navarro said.

Haines said she wasn’t defending Trump, and added, “The greater the contrast, the clearer the message.”

“I think the media does cover that Trump is declining,” co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said during the exchange.

Haines then told Behar she brings it up daily on the liberal talk show.

“Here alone Joy, you talk about him every day!” she said as Behar broke for a commercial break.

“‘Joyless’ Behar is an extremely unlikeable, talentless hack with a poorly rated TV show who clearly suffers from a severe and incurable disease known as Trump Derangement Syndrome. I lose braincells every single time I have the displeasure of hearing her speak,” White House spokesman Davis Ingle told Fox News Digital in a statement.

Biden exited the 2024 presidential contest after a disastrous debate performance against Trump and weeks of pressure from fellow Democrats.

During an interview on “The View” in 2025, Biden denied reports that he experienced cognitive decline.

“They are wrong, there’s nothing to sustain that, number one,” he said during the interview, which included his wife, former first lady Jill Biden.

“Number two, you know, think of what we left with,” he continued. “We left with a circumstance where we had an insurrection when I started, not since the Civil War. We had a circumstance where we were in a position that we — well, the pandemic, because of the incompetence of the last outfit, end up over a million people dying, a million people dying. And we’re also in a situation where we found ourselves unable to deal with a lot of just basic issues, which I won’t go into in the interest of time. And so we went to work, and we got it done and, you know, one of the things that — well, I’m—”

Jill Biden jumped in to say that anyone who wrote about it did not see her husband working in the White House on a daily basis.

“Alyssa, one of the things I think is that the people who wrote those books were not in the White House with us,” she said. “And they didn’t see how hard Joe worked every single day. I mean, he’d get up. He’d put in a full day, and then at night he would — I’d be in bed, you know, reading my book, and he was still on the phone, reading his briefings. Working with staff. I mean, it was nonstop.”

Jill Biden praised her husband for working hard and said, based on the state of things at the time under Trump, “Give me Joe Biden any time,” leading to loud applause from the audience.
