United States Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has said that he will learn alongside the American public whether his department holds records proving the existence of aliens. When asked if he thinks aliens are real, Hegseth said, “We’ll see. I get to do the review and find out along with you.”

Trump’s command was released in response to a podcast in which former President Barack Obama said he believed aliens were real. Obama also claimed that the U.S. government does not hold any in custody, however.
