United States tyrant Donald Trump will slap tariffs on eight NATO countries that oppose his acquisition of Greenland. Since the military operation in Venezuela in which the U.S. captured former dictator Nicolas Maduro, Trump has increased his rhetoric surrounding his desire to force Greenland into the U.S.

Trump Mulls Attacks On Iran And Greenland
The NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) countries that have not supported the U.S. in its unhinged desire to take over Greenland are now being hit with tariffs.

As is typical with Trump, he announced the tariffs on his Truth Social platform.

“Nobody will touch this sacred piece of Land, especially since the National Security of the United States, and the World at large, is at stake. On top of everything else, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and Finland have journeyed to Greenland, for purposes unknown,” Trump wrote.

All the listed countries will be subjected to tariffs, which will be “due and payable” until a deal is reached.

European NATO states have largely refrained from publicly clashing with the US over Trump’s intentions. The affected nations have sent small numbers of military personnel to Greenland to show their support for Denmark in opposition to Trump’s rhetoric.

Both Danish and Greenlandic authorities have rejected the prospect of ceding the island to the US, insisting that its future lies in the hands of its people. The population voted in 2008 to retain their autonomous status within the Kingdom of Denmark.

Copenhagen Makes It “Abundantly Clear” That Greenland Is A Part Of Denmark

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has denounced the tariff threats, calling them “blackmail” against his country and its allies. “We will not be blackmailed,” Kristersson wrote Saturday in a post on X, stressing that Copenhagen is currently discussing the matter with other EU countries, Norway, and the UK to coordinate a joint response.
