Ruling Class Accuses Oil Giants Of Price Gouging

United States ruler Donald Trump has accused oil giants of price gouging the American public, as fuel prices soar. The major spike in price occurred after the US, along with Israel, struck Iran and started a war in the Middle East.

Oddly enough, a lot of the horrible war decisions made by the US seem to revolve around oil. It is difficult to see what the US thinks the endgame is when Americans are at their breaking point with prices, and the fault lies squarely on the shoulders of the ruling class.

It’s All About The Oil: Trump Wants “Oil Rights” In Venezuela

Oil Prices SURGE As US Hits Multiple Targets Across Iran

In a post on Truth Social on Wednesday, Trump said he directed the Justice Department to “immediately start looking into this,” adding that he expected prices to fall “a lot faster than what I’m seeing.” He did not name any oil companies in the post, according to a report by RT.

“The big Oil Companies are not dropping their price at the pump commensurate with the sharply lower prices they are paying for Oil,” Trump said. “Those prices are dropping like a rock! In other words, customers are being ‘gouged.’”

It does take time for those prices to hit the pumps, however. Right now, companies could still be sitting on oil that they paid much more for, meaning they need to charge more for it. The ruling class’s involvement won’t solve anything. In fact, this investigation is likely to cost taxpayers a lot of money.

The average US price of regular gasoline has dropped to around $3.90 a gallon from a peak of over $4 in April, though it remains high compared to pre-war levels. Gasoline prices tend to follow crude over time, but not immediately. Refining, distribution, and local market factors also shape prices at the pump. –RT

It is still really high for a lot of Americans right now.

The US Treasury Department has also issued a temporary sanctions waiver for Iran’s oil sector. This policy authorizes the production, sale, delivery, and import of Iranian crude oil and petrochemicals.

It appears that the US wants to have a war in a vacuum. One that lets it control all of the world’s oil, but it continues to take big losses while blaming anything but itself.
