Here comes a big one from We Knife Co. This is the Quinseris, a full-on premium piece that lands squarely in the XL segment with some seriously imposing dimensions.

The We Knife designers are not afraid of big knives, and they’re not afraid of torquing the classic blade shapes to suit their needs. Both of these characteristics are on full display with Quinseris – it takes just one glance at the thing to identify this as the kind of knife that, if it gets pocket time and is not just a collector piece, is best-suited to handle the biggest cutting chores that folders can reasonably be expected to accomplish.

We’ve got a blade length here of 3.96 inches – which is, for us, just about where a knife can run to lengt-wise and still be considered a candidate for daily carry rather than something more specialized. The sweep of this clip blade is quite dramatic, with some capable belly and a finely tapered point. Made from M390 in the standard configurations, it can slice, it can dice, and it can do those things at scales ranging from medium to large.

As always, multiple colorations can be had

Outfitted with both a flipper and a thumb stud, the Quinseris locks up with a frame lock – and that, unsurprisingly, means full titanium scales. These scales comprise a handle that, in contrast to the aggro angularity of the blade, has a flowing, curving, arcing profile, with some tasteful chamfering a dished out region against which the thumb stud lands in the closed position to facilitate intuitive opening. The pocket clip is also notably smooth and rounded, and is 3D-sculpted from titanium. The Quinseris weighs 4.93 ounces total.

This big boy is available right now, and it may be presaging more new stuff next weekend at We’s SHOT booth.
