Pro wrestling star Tessa Blanchard signed with Major League Wrestling (MLW) earlier this week, bolstering an already stacked women’s division.
Lady Frost, who joined MLW earlier this year, reacted to Blanchard’s arrival in an interview with OutKick Dropkick.

“First of all, it’s an incredible signing,” she said. “We understand the pedigree that comes with Tessa Blanchard and you’ve heard high tides raise all ships. And I think everyone is just going to want to up their game even more.
“I’ve been in the ring with Tessa. I’ve done tours in Mexico and it’s good for business.”
MLW said Blanchard will make her debut appearance at Fightland on Sept. 12 in Charleston, South Carolina.

“Heavy is the crown, but legacy isn’t handed to you… it’s forged under pressure,” she said in a news release. “I’ve earned my place as one of the best in the world at what I do, but I’m not coming to MLW to rest on the Blanchard name.
“MLW is bringing some of the purest, hardest-hitting action in the sport today, and the ‘Undeniable Diamond’ belongs right at the top of it.”
Blanchard is a third-generation pro wrestler. She’s the daughter of Tully Blanchard and the granddaughter of renowned promoter Joe Blanchard. She’s also the stepdaughter of Magnum T.A.
Frost told OutKick Dropkick she wouldn’t rank the MLW women’s division among the rest of the pro wrestling world but agreed the roster is “stacked.”
“It is stacked. I don’t do rankings. That’s not my department. I do the fighting,” she said. “I get in there and I do my job and it’s for the fans to decide. We make it very easy for them. Too easy.
“It’s $15 to show up to a live event and it’s free on YouTube. So, they can make that decision themselves. I know fans have a lot to say about rankings and wrestling and they really have no idea, but you can go ahead and chime in.”
Lady Frost is set for a matchup against Corinne Joy on Saturday as MLW holds its Kings of Colosseum event. The matches can be seen on YouTube, beIN Sports and Veeps.
