Samsung phones can also use the flashlight for visual alerts:

• Go to Settings
• Tap Accessibility
• Tap Advanced settings
• Tap Flash notifications
• Turn on Camera flash notification

You can also turn on Screen flash notification if you want your display to light up instead.
