Military Armament Corporation has just announced the addition of a new 9mm double-stack 1911-style pistol to its product catalog, the new MAC Duty 9 Double Stack. This general purpose 9mm duty pistol ships from the factory with a slide that can directly accept any slide-mounted red-dot sight cut for the popular Trijicon RMR optic-footprint pattern. Like all classic double-stack 2011 style pistols, the new MAC Duty 9 also incorporates a polymer grip module and has a removable aluminum magazine well. This full-size pistol measures 8.8 inches from end to end employs a 5-inch bull barrel with an 11-degree target crown.
Built under Tisas’s high standards in Turkey, the new MAC Duty 9’s frame and slide are manufactured from forged 4140 steel and are finished with a durable black Tennifer QPQ slide and black Cerakote layer. Besides the match grade barrel and a duty appropriate 4.75-pound, single-action trigger, the new MAC Duty 9 includes a skeletonized hammer and a fiber-optic front sight combined with a serrated-black rear iron sight.
