I heard from several of you who are roasting in Texas, Louisiana and Florida. Would you trade your year-round weather for my weather?
“Probably not. Our typical fall, winter and spring is perfect down here. It’s just that couple of months in the dog days of summer down here that make you rethink your life choices,” Dan H. in Louisiana told me.
I get it. The same goes for here in Ohio when it’s March/April and it’s 51 degrees, raining and the wind is howling at 25 mph out of the east off Lake Erie. That’s worse than 20 degrees and bright sun in January.

– Indy D. shares: My goodness has it been a while since I’ve written you. Probably not since my dad passed away last October, and I guess since then I haven’t really felt much like writing.It’s been fun to watch the growth and changes over at Outkick from afar.
The hiccups, the fixes, the increased pressure y’all seem to be under, and through it all Screencaps only seems to be getting stronger. That is a testament to you and your determination to make sure the everyday guys (or gal) has a spot on the increasingly crazy interwebs.
Thanks for putting up with the crazies who chastise you, the grammar police who don’t seem to get what you’re all about, and most of all for keeping ‘Caps ‘Caps.We recently moved and tonight was the first mow on the fresh sod grass (waited for a cable line to be buried and the rain to chill for a hot minute). Feels weird to mow a different lawn, and yet I really enjoyed the familiarity of the mower underfoot. Then was treated to a gorgeous sunset to boot!I hope all is well in the Kinsey house and can’t wait to see what else is in store, especially with football just around the corner. There are readers who’ve been with me for 15 years, but Indy Daryl is in a special category. He has contributed topics that have turned into historic conversations, including his ‘Do Hard Things’ series.
I’ve very happy that Daryl has a new house, but he didn’t show me his home office. That’s a disappointment. Indy D. has always been a standup desk guy. I need to see how he transitioned his work area to the new house.
