Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Reiner were found dead in their Brentwood, California home on Dec. 14.

The beloved actor and director gained national attention when he began starring as Meathead in “All in the Family” in 1971. After his time on the show, he went on to become one of Hollywood’s most prolific directors.

From “The Wolf of Wall Street” to “More than Friends,” Reiner worked on many classic films and television shows throughout his over 50 years in the industry.

Here are some of the movies and TV shows Reiner worked on currently streaming on Tubi.

‘All in the Family’

Reiner had his big break when he landed the role of Michael Stivic, “Meathead,” in “All in the Family,” alongside Carroll O’Connor, Sally Struthers and Jean Stapleton.

The show revolved around a conservative working class couple living in New York City, and raising a liberal daughter. Reiner is introduced in the first episode as the liberal boyfriend of the couple’s daughter.

Throughout the show, Reiner and O’Connor’s characters clash on nearly every topic, including civil rights, immigration and religion, but also share moments of vulnerability and love.

Created by Norman Lear, the hit sitcom aired on CBS for nine seasons from 1971 to 1979, with Reiner choosing to leave the show at the end of its eighth season in 1978.

‘The Wolf of Wall Street’

The 2013 movie, “The Wolf of Wall Street,” followed the real-life story of Jordan Belfort, a New York City stockbroker in the 1990s.

Reiner appears in the film as Max Belfort, the father of the main character, played by Leonardo DiCaprio. As Jordan’s father, his character acted as a moral counterpoint to Jordan, who was fully engulfed in the corruption and greed that comes with being a stockbroker.

“When he sees his son going off the deep end, he tries to rein him in, to no avail,” Reiner told the Huffington Post in December 2013. “It’s like a parent watching your child run into the street and the car is coming and he’s going to be hit by the car and you’re so helpless to do anything — and you have to watch it happen.”

The movie went on to earn five Academy Award nominations, including best picture and best leading actor.

Reiner directed and starred in the 2017 political drama, “Shock and Awe.”

In the film, Woody Harrelson and James Marsden play two real-life journalists who “challenge the ‘weapons of mass destruction’ charge used as a pretense for war” as the U.S. launches its 2003 invasion of Iraq.

‘More than Friends’

Reiner and Penny Marshall wrote the popular 1978 TV movie, “More than Friends,” about the progression of their own romantic relationship.

The story follows two friends, Alan and Matty, played by Reiner and Marshall, as they try to decide if they should remain “just friends” or if they should take the next step in their relationship.

It is loosely based on the real-life relationship between Reiner and Marshall, who were married for ten years from 1971 to 1981.
