Ukraine Unveils New Flamingo Missile

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this week that his military no longer needs permission from the United States ruling class to strike deep inside Russia. It now has a new flamingo missile with a 3,000 km range that will allow the war-mongering country to “bypass” any restrictions.

The Pentagon has quietly blocked Ukraine from using American-supplied ATACMS missiles to hit Russian territory since late spring.

Ukraine’s resources, manpower, and Western support have been dwindling, which makes the Flamingo a desperate last gamble rather than a war-winning strategy. It still doesn’t look possible for Ukraine to win this war, even with the announcement of the new missile.

The Flamingo, which was developed by Ukrainian defense firm Fire Point, isn’t just another cruise missile. With a one-ton warhead and a range that puts Moscow within striking distance, it’s designed to be a game-changer. “We came up with it pretty fast. It took less than nine months to develop it from an idea to its first successful tests on the battlefield,” said Iryna Terekh, Fire Point’s CEO. “It’s faster than all the other missiles we currently have.”

The Wall Street Journal, as reported by Natural News, claimed that the U.S. ruling class has been blocking Ukrainian strikes on Russian soil using American weapons since late spring. An unnamed official confirmed that the Pentagon’s approval process has effectively grounded ATACMS missiles that could otherwise be used against high-value targets inside Russia. Ukraine’s development of its own missiles is clearly an attempt to get around this long-standing ban.

Moscow has also declared that its red line has been crossed by Ukraine, attacking it with long-range missiles deep into Russian territory.  How long will Zelensky get away with continuing to support this war before Russia has had enough? So far, Putin has allowed Ukraine a very blurred pink line instead of drawing a hard red one. How long will that last?
