The SIG Sauer P365 upset the world of micro-compact pistols when it was first introduced. While it was the same size as similar guns, it has a magazine capacity that started at ten rounds, more than any other gun on the market at that time. The internal stasis-based trigger system gives it the ability to change not just the backstrap for a better grip but the entire grip itself, allowing for almost infinite customization.

The P365 continues to be a popular defensive choice, due in no small part the wide range of accessories and upgrades available for this pistol. Let’s look at some the choices for P365 accessories out there right now.

Enigma Express V2 Holster: MSRP $154

The words “game changer” are used to describe all sorts of firearms accessories, but when it comes to discreet carry of your P365, the PHLster Enigma truly was a game-changer, especially if your everyday clothing isn’t belt-compatible. The Enigma Express V2 model we have is upgraded compared to the original version, with a ridged faceplate to help keep the holster and other options to keep the holster right where it’s supposed to be. Best of all, the Enigma Express V2, like all other Enigma holsters, uses Kydex shells to house your pistol, reducing the chance of an unfortunate incident when carrying concealed.

MFT OWBMission First OWB Holster: $59.99

You’re only as good as your worst day on the range, so training with a defensive pistol is very important. While it’s barely a handful to hold, because of it’s small size and 9mm chambering, the P365 can be a handful to shoot. An OWB (Outside The Waistband) holster like the one we’ve chosen from Mission First Tactical lets you keep your gun handy when training and functions well as a concealed carry holster with the appropriate cover garment.

SIG Sauer Magazines: MSRP $49.99 – $64.99

Spare magazines are an essential accessory to any defensive pistol, and the P365 is no exception to this rule. The SIG Sauer P365 may have started out with a 10-round magazine, but to borrow from Ron Burgundy, things have escalated quickly. 12-round magazines are quite common these days, and SIG even makes a 17-round magazine with a grip extension and a 21-round magazine without a grip extension that’s meant to be used in the P365 Flux Raider. Those last two magazines might be a little too large to run as the primary magazine in your P365, but they’d feel right at home in a magazine pouch on your belt or stowed in your everyday carry bag.

Gideon JudgeGideon Optics Judge: MSRP $269.99

A red dot optic (or in this case, green dot) is a great way to push through some of the limitations of a micro-compact pistol like the P365. The iron sights on the P365 are excellent, but even the skinniest front sight is wider than the 3 MOA dot that’s inside this optic. This gives you a finer point of aim and allows to see more of the target in your sights, which are two things absolutely essential to making shots at longer distances. Add a dot to your micro-pistol, and you’ll find yourself hitting the target at distances you never thought possible.

Gideon Optics makes no-nonsense units that will do the job for the vast majority of American gun owners. The Judge has all the features you want in red dot, like motion-wake and automatic sleep and adjustable brightness, plus your choice of red or green dot. Best of all, it has all those features at a price that won’t break the bank.

WCP365Wilson Combat WCP365 Grip Module: MSRP $66.95

The trigger in the P365 is contained in a metal cradle called a fire control unit, which has a serial number on it. That cradle fits into the polymer grip module, and the fire control unit, not the grip module, is considered to be the actual firearm part of the P365, everything else you add or subtract to the fire control unit is an accessory and can be modified at your leisure.

This opens up a world of possibilities when it comes to accessories for your P365. Don’t like the color of the frame of your pistol? Buy a new grip module and drop in your fire control unit. Want a different texture? Same solution. In my case, I’ve always found the stock P365 grip module to be a bit small for my hands.

The Wilson Combat WCP365 grip module helps solve the problem. It’s a bit wider than the stock P365 grip module and allows me to get more of my hands on the gun. Wilson Combat also sells tungsten inserts for this module to make it a bit heavier, which in turn gives you more recoil control.

These are just some of the P365 accessories out there. Because of the fire control unit and the modular nature of this pistol, I’m almost certain you’ll run out of ideas before you run out of ways to customize this pistol to your needs.
