NATO Will Send More Money To Ukraine

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is not done funding Ukraine, even though peace talks appear to be making progress. Even Ukraine’s ruler, Volodymyr Zelensky, has said he would consider territory concessions to end the war that he cannot win.

Zelensky Could Concede Land

NATO’s Military Committee Chairman Giuseppe Cavo Dragone stated that NATO has already provided more than $33 billion since January and plans to raise the total to $50 billion by the end of the year.

Ukraine Not Invited to Crucial Trump & Putin Peace Talks

Accoridng to a report by RT, when asked about the alliance’s stance as Washington and Moscow pursue peace efforts, Dragone said NATO would “continue military assistance and even increase it,” accusing Russia of “stalling” dialogue. He stressed that “we have not spoken about this at all in NATO, we have not even mentioned it,” adding that such proposals were “at least premature” and remained “in their infancy.”

Russia has repeatedly criticized European NATO members for trying to sideline Russia in the negotiations while focusing instead on security guarantees for Kiev, which Russia has branded an illegitimate and “openly neo-Nazi” regime. Moscow also continues to allege that Ukraine’s Western allies’ continued support of this war is the key that keeps the battle going. Without Western support, Ukraine would have long lost this war, and the bloodshed would be over.

Ukraine’s moves have been solely based on keeping the war going and whether or not it is getting aid from others.
