Hornady dropped a number of announcements today with all the new products they are releasing in 2025!
While these have yet to be released, they are all slated for 2025 or sooner.
338 ARC (NEW CARTRIDGE)
Big news for 2025 is the 338 ARC! Building off the success of the other ARC cartridges, 338 ARC is a 300 BLK-like cartridge offering 1.5 times the power of 300 BLK. Using a Grendel type II bolt, the 338 ARC is designed for AR-15 rifles and micro-action bolt rifles.
Ammo at launch will include 307gr subsonic and 175gr supersonic loads. The 307gr Subs will deliver 1.5 times the power on target that 300 BLK offers.
Hornady reports that the 338 ARC will have better consistency between super and sub loads and will not require changing your gas system when changing loads.
Barrels and parts will be available from a number of manufacturers like KAK Industries, Faxon Firearms, Aero Precision, Prefered Barrels, and many more!
Backcountry Defense
New large-caliber handgun ammo offers high penetration that matches or exceeds hard-cast lead loads, but uses modern bullet design that doesn’t leave a huge chunk of exposed lead.
Safer for shooters and hand loaders, better performance on target, and a range of options available.
AEROMATCH Bullets
New match-grade bullets from Hornady are available in BULK. 500 round boxes are standard but 3,000 count cases are also available. All bullets in the AEROMATCH line are sequentially packed. Meaning, you’re buying bullets 1-500 (or 3,000).
These aren’t just coming from the same lot, these are made one after another for maximum consistency.
Releasing in 22 CAL, 30 CAL, 6mm, and 6.5mm in a range of weights the AEROMATCH bullets are made to fill a gap in the market and provide high-volume shooters with a reliable and consistent source of high-quality ammo.
3-in-1 Power Case Trimmer
Trimming cases are one of the worst parts about handloading ammo, thankfully Hornady is trying to make it suck less!
New 3-in-1 Power Case Trimmer trims, chamfers, and deburrs the case all at once. This one-step process is a huge time saver and makes trimming cases a lot easier. The Hornady design also offers a lot of adjustability that should make dialing in the perfect trim fast and simple.
Hornady 6 GT 109gr ELDM
The 6 GT has taken off in the precision shooting world and Horandy is here to support the cartridge! Factory offerings in 109gr ELDM will soon be available. Great news for PRS shooters that don’t have the time or space for handloading their own ammo.
