XS Sights is now offering its popular R3D 2.0 night sights for Springfield Armory’s line of Echelon pistols. The XS Sights R3D 2.0 sights are some of the most popular products currently in the Texas-based sight company’s catalog and is the second-generation version of XS Sights’s original R3D series. This defensive carry/duty sight set consists of a low-profile, snag-free rear sight with a serrated face and a wide square notch and smaller tritium vials. The rear sight is juxtaposed against a front sight with an eye-catching bright green or orange high contrast photoluminescent “glow dot” that also has a central tritium vial.

“The Springfield Armory Echelon made a strong impression, and many owners are now looking to push its performance even further,” said Jeff King, marketing manager at XS Sights. “With our enhanced glow dot and refined R3D 2.0 design, shooters will notice faster target acquisition and greater confidence in every shot.”

XS Sights R3D 2.0 Springfield Armory Echelon Features

  • Tritium front and rear with high-contrast glow dot
  • Photoluminescent glow dot absorbs ambient light and glows in low light
  • Wide-notch rear with serrations and anti-reflective lens
  • Corrosion-resistant, black-nitride surface finish
  • Traditional three-dot tritium notch-and-post sight picture
  • Proudly manufactured in the United States of America
  • MSRP starts at $137.49

The Springfield Armory Echelon pistol is Springfield Armory’s current flagship polymer frame striker-fired 9mm pistol, launched in 2023. Springfield Armory Echelons are currently available in two principal sizes: A full-size option with a 4.5-inch barrel and a compact model with a 4-inch barrel, each with a distinctive multi-footprint, optics-ready slide.
