Troy Industries has just unveiled a new hard-use, full-automatic rated 5.56mm suppressor, the Kryptos Suppressor.

This stainless-steel suppressor was designed to be used in conjunction with the Troy Muzzle Device, which serves as the mount for the Kryptos. Once installed on a rifle barrel, the Kryptos suppressor sits over the barrel for a shorter overall profile. This means that only about four inches are added to the overall length of the suppressor’s host firearm. The Troy Industries patented-shared chamber design removes the outer tube, which not only reduces weight but also creates more internal space for better sound reduction and reduced blowback. The over-the-barrel design of the Kryptos shifts the suppressor’s weight closer to your rifle’s center of gravity. This positioning reduces the perceived weight of the Kryptos compared to traditional forward-mounted suppressors, helping to ward off fatigue during extended time behind the rifle. In addition to this, the Kryptos patented baffle system ensures a high level of cross-sectional structural integrity that can withstand the intense concussion caused by high round counts.

Troy Kryptos 5.56mm Suppressor Key Features:

  • Reduced weight with patented shared-chamber baffle design
  • Reduction in both sound and particulate matter/blowback
  • Mounts to firearm in an over the barrel design which reduces overall length
  • Manufactured in the U.S. from American-sourced raw materials
  • Purchase of suppressor includes TPRS Muzzle Device, shims and Rocksett

Troy Kryptos 5.56mm Suppressor Specifications:

  • Caliber: 5.56mm/.223 diameter
  • Construction Materials: 17-4 and 304 Stainless steel
  • Diameter: 1.65 inches
  • Length: 6.5 inches (only adds 4 inches to firearm)
  • Weight: 18 ounces
  • Finish: Cerakote black finish

The Troky Kryptos 5.56 mm Suppressor has a standard retail price of $1,200. To learn more about it or other products offered by Troy industries, visit worldoftroy.com.
