Streamlight Inc. has just unveiled a new ultra compact pocket and keychain flashlight, the Streamlight Nano Light II. This LED flashlight provides a stream of bright light with an hour of runtime using a single AAA alkaline battery. The light is only 2.2 inches long and just over .5 inches wide while weighing only .6 ounces. As small as it is, its external body is still constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum and it has an LED bulb that is rated for up to 50,000 hours of use. This small pocket light is even waterproof and resistant to the elements.

The Streamlight Nano Light II is crafted around carrying convenience and steady light output. The light is also designed for one handed operation and has an on/off switch that is easy to activate. The Streamlight Nano II’s LED bulb has 20 lumens and 120 candela and throws a beam out to a distance of 24 yards.

“Having a high-performance, reliable flashlight that fits easily on a keychain offers law enforcement, tactical, military personnel, and outdoor enthusiasts a perfect light for a wide variety of uses,” said Michael F. Dineen, Streamlight’s Chief Revenue Officer. “It’s an ideal complement to our larger, task-oriented flashlights, while also useful for everyday tasks such as guiding your key into a lock at night, lighting your way in a dark parking lot, or when walking the dog after dark.”
