Staccato 2011 is expanding its popular “HD” 2011 pattern handgun family. The Texas gunmaker’s latest release is the new Staccato HD C 3.6 pistol. Like its other siblings, the new Staccato HD C 3.6 pistol feeds from 9mm Glock-pattern magazines, as opposed to the wider, traditional 9mm/.38 Super classic 2011 magazine that harkens back to Staccato’s models back during its STI days.

Unlike the original 2011 pattern magazine, Glock-pattern magazines are widely available, less finicky and less expensive and can be used in Staccato’s entire HD family.

As for the new Staccato HD C 3.6, this compact 2011 style pistol sports a 3.6-inch 9mm barrel, ambidextrous controls and an optics-ready slide, making it suitable for personal protection and EDC (every day carry) needs. This pistol ships with two MecGar steel 15-round Glock pattern magazines.

“We built the HD line to deliver the most technologically advanced and thoroughly tested version of the 2011 platform to date,” said Paul Smith, VP of Product for Staccato. “After introducing full-sized models earlier this year, we set out to create a compact option that preserves duty-grade performance while expanding carrying options and user confidence. The HD C3.6 is the result.”

Staccato 2011 HD C 3.6 Specifications:

  • Action: Single-action, semi-automatic
  • Caliber: 9mm
  • Barrel Length: 3.6 inches
  • Barrel Style: Bull barrel
  • Weight: 24 ounces
  • Frame Material: Aluminum
  • Recoil System: Staccato 2011 3.6-inch flatwire
  • Width: 1.6 inches
  • Height: 4.8 inches
  • Overall Length: 7.1 inches
  • Magazine Capacity: 15 rounds

The new Staccato HD C 3.6 pistol comes with a starting MSRP of $2,299. Different options and barrel finishes can be selected and ordered on the Staccato website. Visit staccato2011.com to learn more about this pistol or other products from Staccato.
