Nightstick has announced the new USB-588-T: Turbo High Candela USB dual-light rechargeable tactical flashlight, designed to increase your awareness, safety and information in critical situations.

“This new Turbo model of tactical flashlights, and our upcoming line of high-candela handgun lights, represents a significant advancement in our product offerings,” said Garret Eason, Nightstick’s marketing manager for law enforcement and sporting goods. “We’ve designed it to meet the demands of professionals who require longer beam-throw distance, the ability to defeat photonic barriers, precise target discrimination and reliability in critical situations.”

The USB-588-T features a flashlight rated at 1,100 lumens and a 350 lumen downward-facing floodlight. Using revised LED and bezel dimensions, the USB-588-T produces an increased 85,000 candela, with a beam distance of 547 meters. In dual-light mode, the USB-588-T puts out a combined 850 lumens. The light is 6 inches long and weighs 5.9 ounces. It is also multi-functional, cycling between high, medium and low modes.

Crafted from 6061-T6 aluminum with a hard-anodized black finish, the USB-588-T is rated as IPX7 waterproof and features a discreetly sleeved collar that opens for direct USB-C charging. The built-in charging indicator turns from red to green when fully charged. Included is a lithium-ion rechargeable battery, 2-foot USB-C charging cable, and CR123 battery carrier (CR123 batteries not included).
