NexTorch has just unveiled the new TA22 Tri Mode Tactical Penlight, a compact high-performance tool with the latest technology meant for hard use by tactical professionals, first responders and outdoor enthusiasts.

NexTorch designed the new TA22 to be a professional-grade, compact penlight that throws out up to 850 lumens of white light illumination. It has a maximum beam throw distance of 95 meters in high mode and a quick access, one-step-strobe function. Besides the strobe function, the TA22 features a multi-mode design with three selectable settings: Lock, Duty and Tac. The tail switch operation in Tac mode allows for a half press for momentary high and a full press for the one-step-strobe. The Duty mode offers a half press for momentary on, full press for constant high, and subsequent half presses to toggle between brightness levels (high, medium, low). The Lock mode prevents accidental activation, making it ideal for storage or transport.

Like many modern pen lights and flashlights, the new NexTorch TA22 is powered by a rechargeable lithium ion 10880 battery and can be recharged via USB-C. Externally the NexTorch TA22 is built from machined A6061-T6 aluminum alloy with an anti-rolling geometry. Its durable assembly is rated to pass ANSI 6.5 feet drop and impact tests while also being rechargeable. In addition to its impact rating the NexTorch TA22 includes an IPX8 dust and waterproof rating. Finally, as a tactical penlight NexTorch incorporated a nano-ceramic strike bezel that serves as a defensive impact tool or glass breaker.

NexTorch TA22 Tactical Penlight Features and Specifications:

  • Beam distance: 312 feet
