Rost Martin has recently launched two new handguns, the Rost Martin RM1C Comped and RM1S models. Both are 9mm polymer-frame, striker-fired semi-automatic pistols. The RM1C Comped is a compact pistol with an integrated compensator and a 4-inch barrel while the RM1S is a subcompact model with a 3.6-inch barrel.

Rost Martin RM1C Comped

The new Rost Martin RM1C Comped takes after the original Rost Martin RM1C, but adds an integrated, single-port compensator in order to offset the pistol’s natural muzzle flip. The RM1C Comp’s slide is optics-ready, and its frame has Rost Martin’s RGT (responsive grip texturing). This new pistol also sports a flat-face trigger shoe, and a trigger assembly engineered to furnish the shooter with an aggressive and short reset for performance shooting. RM1C Comped pistols ship with a flush fitting 15-round 9mm magazine and a spare 17-round magazine.

Rost Martin RM1S

The new Rost Martin RM1S is a 3.6-inch-barreled subcompact optimized for personal protection and EDC (everyday carry). The texturing on its frame is slightly more aggressive to allow the shooter to retain better control of this sub-compact pistol while shooting. Other aspects of the frame such as the beaver tail and undercutting of the trigger guard were also incorporated into this design for the same reason. Additionally, the new RM1S has fully ambidextrous controls and is optics-ready for the popular Trijicon RMR footprint. RM1S pistols ship with 12- and 15-round magazines.

“After listening to customer feedback, we are excited to expand on an already rich feature set within the RM1 series with these two new offerings,” stated Rost Martin CEO Chris Toomer.

Both the RM1S and the RM1C Comped share holster compatibility with the original RM1C platform.

Retail pricing for the new RM1C Comped starts at $489 while pricing for the new RM1S pistol starts at $469. Visit rostmartin.com to learn more about this new pair of guns from Rost Martin.
