Texas based Gritr, a company specializing in firearm accessories, is now launching a new suite of magazine carriers that can accommodate a wide variety of different pistol magazines. In addition, this new lineup from Gritr includes a carrier designed to hold standard AR-15-pattern magazines.

Gritr’s new magazine carriers for pistols are of an interchangeable OWB/IWB (outside-the-waistband/inside-the-waistband) design and come in two sizes. The first size is a “standard” size that can accommodate most single-stack and standard double-stack 9mm or .40 S&W magazines, and the second handgun model was developed to securely hold wider double-stack magazines, such as those used in .45 ACP-chambered pistols that accept double-stack magazines or even wide-body 2011 pistols. Both of these handgun magazine pouches are made from polymer and use a standard 1.5-inch wide belt clip. They also include an adjustable retention system which allows for the fine tuning of how tightly the end user would like to retain the magazine in place on the waist.

The Gritr magazine holder for AR-15 sized magazines is also made from polymer, but its design is outside the waistband only because it was created to be interchangeable with the popular Safariland QLS belt/holster mounting system which already serves as a host to a wide variety of tactical accessories, especially those worn around duty belts and similar rigs. This magazine carrier is ambidextrous and relies on a non-slip, hinge-style belt-attachment system that can fit belts up to 2.25 inches wide. Retention is moderated via an Allen screw that can increase or decrease pressure, depending on the end user’s needs.

Visit gritrgear.com to learn more about this range of new magazine carriers for AR-15 and pistol magazines, or to explore other accessories sold by Gritr.
