Bear Ops, a division of Bear & Sons Cutlery, recently unveiled two new tactical folding knife product lines, the Katakt and Nekama series.

Katakt Series

The Bear Ops Katakt Series are automatic knives available in three different styles: Katakt 1, Katakt 2 and Katakt 3. Customers can choose from these three base models as well as sub-variants with different trim colors and highlights. These automatic, folding pocketknives are manufactured for diverse cutting tasks and incorporate high-performance M390 steel blades with spear-point and Wharncliffe profiles.

The Katakt 1 has a green G10 handle that provides users with a secure, non-slip grip, complemented by a slide-lock mechanism for reliable one-handed operation. With a reversible boot/pocket clip, bronze accent ball bearing washers and Torx screw construction, this knife is optimized for effortless everyday carry.

Bear Ops offers two variants on the Katakt 2 models. The AC-2100-ALBK-B knife has a straight-edge blade, while the blade on the AC-2100-ALBK-BSR is serrated. Both feature sleek black aluminum handles and a durable black drop point blade. Orange accents, including a lanyard hole and ball bearing washers, round out the features.

The Bear Ops Katakt 3 AC-2200-ALDE-B knife has a straight-edge blade, while the AC-2200-ALDE-BSR has a serrated blade. Both knives feature an FDE aluminum handle and distinctive reverse tanto blade for precision and reliability. The knives also have a slide lock mechanism, black jimping spacer and reversible boot/pocket clip for functionality.

All Bear Ops Katakt knives have an MSRP of $199.

Bear Ops Nekama Series

Nekama Series knives are priced more affordably than the Katakt family. This series of pocketknives are built around a premium 3¼-inch, Sandvik 14C28N blade with a modified tanto shape. This blade steel offers superior edge retention and cutting power for a variety of tasks. Nekama knives are equipped with precision ball bearings and ambidextrous thumb studs for a natural deployment. The handles are lightweight aluminum for comfort and grippiness. These blades can be had in black with orange accent washers and matching lanyard hole, or stainless with blue washers and a grey handle.
