Mission First Tactical just released the Guardian Duty Holster, a bucket-style tactical belt holster meant for law enforcement, military and end users in search of a rigid shell external OWB (Outside the Waistband) holster. The Guardian’s contemporary design includes a security hood and a retention system that keeps the gun anchored to the holster in order to keep the gun secured in place while going hands-on or moving about. In addition to its retention devices, the Guardian also uses similar magnet technology found in some of Mission First Tactical’s other holster designs. As a new product, the new Guardian holster is only currently available for standard width 9mm duty size Glock pistols and their clones including the Glock G19, Glock G45, Glock G49, Glock G17 and Glock G47. Guardian holsters also fit duty grade enclosed-emitter optics including the Aimpoint COA, Aimpoint ACRO P2, Trijicon RCR and Holsoun 509T. The holster is also compatible with open emitter optics like the Trijicon RMR, Trijicon RMR HD, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro and the Holsoun 507C/508T series.

Mission First Tactical Guardian Duty Holster Features:

  • Instinctive locking system
  • Optics-ready capability
  • Full containment locking system
  • Patented inline magnetic retention
  • Thumb-activated lock block guard
  • Debris flush design
  • Carbon reinforced lightweight structure rods
  • Mid-ride duty belt mount
  • MSRP: $214.99

“Full containment is a new level up in the next generation of retention duty holsters”, said Bobby McGee, EVP of Product Management Innovation and the inventor of the MFT Duty Holster. “We push the limits of retention by utilizing our instinctive locking system’s full containment technology. It maximizes strength and durability using aerospace carbon fiber rod technology. McGee goes on to say, “We wanted to design and create a system that is safer, faster, and lighter for the frontliners that demand that out of their safety equipment.”
