Lipsey’s is introducing an exclusive Ruger LCR revolver in .32 H&R Mag. which showcases a cartridge that has become a high demand round in recent years as a sure and trustworthy pairing for small, lightweight revolvers.

The Lipsey’s Exclusive Ruger LCR hosts six rounds of either .32 S&W Long or the 32 S&W cartridges offering flexibility in ammunition choices.

Why a .32 H&R Mag? Jason Cloessner, Senior Vice President of Lipsey’s Special Projects, states: “It’s a fantastic cartridge for a small lightweight revolver and has very little recoil, but the terminal performance is very good.” He also mentioned, “There is a lot of new ammo coming out in the .32 H&R cartridge, so it’s never been more available than it is today.”

Outfitted with Hogue Tamer grips, this revolver weighs in at only 13.9 ounces. This combination keeps the high expectation of performance while reducing the felt-recoil 30 to 40 percent over the similar-size .38 Spl. revolver. Ruger’s patented friction-reducing cam ensures a smoother double-action trigger pull, making it comfortable and accessible for shooters of all skill levels.

Built with a complimenting bronze anodized aluminum receiver the Ruger LCR H&R is attractive to both men and women and the black wheel adds to the classic styling. There are no rough parts that will hang up in a holster or handbag.

The reason I chose this firearm for this First Look article was how comfortable it felt in my hand and when I pulled the trigger, I was impressed with how easy it was for a double-action revolver. I was not a fan of revolvers for many years, but this Lipsey’s Exclusive Ruger LCR .32 H&R Magnum gave me a new outlook. Take the time to check this classy piece out, you won’t be disappointed.

MSRP $739.99
