FightLite, a company known for its belt-fed-style, AR-15 pattern upper receivers, has recently unveiled its next generation FightLite DFX upper receiver group. This new complete upper assembly consists of a freefloat, heavy-profile barrel that is shrouded by an M1913 Picatinny quad rail handguard. Additionally, FightLite Industries also offers an M-Lok-compatible option. In addition to feeding from linked ammunition belts, the DFX has a dual-feed system that accepts AR-15 pattern magazines.

For added reliability and ruggedness the new FightLite DFX uses a patent pending short stroke piston assembly to cycle rounds compared to the traditional direct gas impingement mechanism found in many AR-15s.

DFX upper receiver groups are designed to drop into any standard AR-15 lower receiver assembly. They also do not require any permanent modifications, nor do they alter the function of a standard lower receiver.
