Dead Air Silencers is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its flagship Sandman product series by announcing the launch of the latest Sandman models, the new Dead Air Silencers Sandman X.

The Sandman X uses Dead Air’s advanced Triskelion gas-management-system technology, which consists of a 3D-printed baffle system manufactured from Haynes 282 alloy. The Triskelion system in the Sandman X works to reduce overall unit weight, boost its strength and rigidity while also improving thermal performance. Lastly, the incorporation of the Triskelion pattern also minimizes gas blowback.

The Dead Air Sandman X suppressor is designed and developed for hard-use conditions. The suppressor works with .30-caliber cartridges and is full-auto rated. However, due to its end cap and adapter system, the new Dead Air Sandman X is just as easily adaptable for use with different calibers such as 5.56- or 6mm- diameter cartridges. Sandman X units ship with the Dead Air R-Series flash-hider front cap, making them compatible for 5.56 NATO firearms when paired with Dead Air’s 5.56 flash hider. The suppressor accepts all Dead Air HUB adapters, including Keymo and Xeno, as well as direct-thread mounts and is compatible with a wide variety of ⅝x24 tpi adapters found on the market today.
