Chiappa is introducing the 86 Wildlands Angle Ejection Takedown, a modern take on the old lever-action classic. Chambered in .45-70 Gov’t., it has a 16.5-inch barrel with a 1:18-inch twist and a tubular magazine that holds four rounds. The barrel is threaded ⅝x24 tpi to attach muzzle devices, accept thread protectors, recoil-mitigation devices or suppressors.

The stock is skeletonized with an adjustable comb and outfitted with an attachment point for accessories or cartridge holders and there is an integrated, adjustable cheek rest allows for more comfort. The fore-end is made from aluminum with M-Lok shots and features an over receiver rail for optics attachments. The lever is wrapped in black paracord for easy use and comfortable operation.

The 86 Wildlands Angle Ejection Takedown is finished in a matte blued style for a tactical look and feel. Spent cases are ejected to the side, allowing you to accommodate any optic. One of the distinguishing characteristics of the rifle is the takedown feature which connects at the receiver’s front, allowing the rifle to be separated into two pieces. Users can mount a scope on the rear portion of the picatinny rail and disassemble the rifle without removing the scope, making the 86 Wildlands Takedown perfect for easy carrying and storage while retaining full rifle functions. When assembled, QD slots are located on various rifle points for quick sling attachment and removal.
