C&H Precision has recently introduced its new “big window” RMSc footprint compatible red-dot sight, called the RMSC Max. The C&H Precision RMSC Max has a window that offers a 90-percent larger reflective-lens surface area than the typical micro-reflex sights.
The optic uses the popular Shield Sights RMSc mounting footprint, which is popular for thinner handguns on the market such as SIG Sauer P365, Glock G43 MOS, Taurus GX4 and others.
The C&H RMSC Max has a housing made from 7075 series aluminum and is built to withstand the recoil from centerfire handgun ammunition. C&H designed the RMSC Max to run off one CR 1632 battery and to project a 2.5-MOA red dot from an open emitter. The RMSC Max also employs a motion control “shake awake” style system that’s designed to shut down after 5 minutes of inactivity. While it may not make sense to mount on a micro-compact CCW pistol, the RMSc footprint itself lends itself to full-size handguns that have narrow slides such as 1911s or 2011s that can still benefit from having a red-dot sight with a larger window.
