Bear & Son Cutlery just unveiled the new Lawman pocketknife, a monochromatic classically styled pocketknife with a bone handle, a carbon fiber bolster and the option of either a D2 tool steel blade or polished Damascus steel blade.

The new Bear & Son Cutlery Lawman pocketknife series uses a 3 1/4-inch-long blade, drop point blade profile and a slide lock mechanism. This pivoting knife mechanism relies on a spring-loaded thumb stud that can be actuated by either the left or right hand from either side and interacts with the specifically rounded bottom portion of the blade. Knife company Benchmade is credited with pioneering this style of blade locking mechanism.

Overall, the Lawman pocketknife represents a portion of Bear & Son Cutlery’s 2025 products that showcase Bear & Son’s artistic craftsmanship capabilities combined with a practical and elegant looking design for an everyday carry pocketknife. With a 3 1/4-inch-long blade and a drop point, and not to mention an overall length of 7 7/8 inches and weight of 3.5 ounces, the Bear & Son Cutlery Lawman pocketknife nicely fills the practical design niche.

Bear & Son Cutlery Lawman Pocket Knife Specifications:

  • Blade Material: D2 Steel (WSB22) or Damascus (WSB22D)
  • Handle Material: White smooth bone and carbon fiber
  • Overall Length: 7 7/8 inches
