Elon Musk “Regrets” His Attacks On Donald Trump

Is the divorce called off? Elon Musk has expressed “regret” for attacking president Donald Trump during a tit for tat exchange on social media. After the traded threats and online insults last week, many assumed that the two were publicly ending their “bromance.”

“I regret some of my posts about President Donald Trump last week. They went too far,” Musk said on his X account early on Wednesday morning. Musk did not specify which of his previous posts he now finds regrettable. Media reports have suggested that his associates and the White House were engaged in backchannel communications in a bid to deflate the tensions. Trump publicly said he was not interested in direct contact with Musk, but later appeared to tone down his rhetoric toward the entrepreneur, according to a report by RT.

What was considered the “X post heard around the world” has since been deleted as well. The infamous Epstein-Trump allegation posted by Musk has disappeared.

Musk Deleted Now Infamous Trump-Epstein Post

The rift between the two members of the ruling class began when the tech entrepreneur made himself a vocal critic of Trump’s so-called “big, beautiful bill.” The expensive bill requires Congressional approval to fund Trump’s second-term policy priorities. Musk branded the proposal full of “pork” and claimed it reneged on the campaign promise to decrease the federal debt.

Trump claimed last week that Musk opposed the bill out of self-interest, which triggered a barrage of increasingly hostile posts between the pair. The president branded Musk “crazy,” while the tech billionaire alleged that Trump was complicit in the sex offenses of late financier and convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, in the aforementioned and now deleted X post.

Was it all just a clown show designed to distract? Or was this a real battle between the two, or for publicity? Is that why it seems to be cooling? Let us know what you think! We value your opinions.
