China Slams U.S. Over Russian Sanctions Bill

China has clapped back at the United States after its ridiculous announcement that sanctions and tariffs of up to 500% would be levied against Russia if it didn’t stop the war with Ukraine in 50 days. Beijing says that the proposed tariffs are actually “illegal.”

The U.S. is also taking another economic war to the next level by even threatening to enact such egregious tariffs on another country. China added that the illegal unilateral sanctions” will actually undermine efforts to resolve the Ukraine conflict.

Unfortunately, it is not at all difficult to see where this is going. Issuing this kind of ultimatum to Russia will backfire, especially now that China has chosen its side. The U.S. cannot stop attempting to instigate a global war. While it tells the slave class one thing, it is actively trying to ignite a third world war.

Threatening The Russians With An Ultimatum Will Backfire Severely And Will Set The Stage For Nuclear War

When war hawk senator Lindsey Graham proposed the sanctions and tariffs,  he emphasized that Trump would have “maximum flexibility” in applying said sanctions.  If these egregious measures are adopted, it would grant US President Donald Trump the authority to impose tariffs of up to 500% on countries that also maintain trade with Russia. Graham intentially singled out China, India, and Brazil.

According to a report by RT, Graham claimed the measure would give Trump a “sledgehammer” to use against Russia. Moscow has denounced the sanctions as illegal and accused Western nations of exploiting the Ukraine conflict to stifle its development. Historically, Russia has been able to get around sanctions too by simply avoiding the U.S.’s law by disobedience.

Western Attempts At Crippling Russia’s Economy With Sanctions Have FAILED, Warns Putin

Responding to a question about the tariff threat, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian told reporters on Tuesday that Beijing “firmly opposes any illegal unilateral sanctions and long-arm jurisdiction.” He added, “There are no winners in a tariff war,” and reiterated that “dialogue and negotiation are the only viable way” to end the conflict.

The U.S. can not force countries to pay tariffs without military force. Once that force is inititalted, it will cross the line from economic war to a hot war, and all it will take is Russia saying “no.” Notice how no ruling class is asking for consent? They don’t care, not even a little, and the U.S. is quite obviously overplaing its hand thinking somehow its still respected on the global stage.
