Cambodia has just reported its tenth case of bird flu this year. Some of the patients who had contracted the H5N1 highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) had reportedly handled and come into contact with ill poultry, which they then prepared and ate.

On Sunday, June 29th, the Ministry of Health announced that two additional cases of avian influenza were found in the same area as a 41-year-old woman who had tested positive for the H5N1 virus, as confirmed by the National Institute of Public Health the previous Monday. That brings Cambodia’s total human cases to ten for the year.

According to a report by Asian News Network, an active field investigation to identify suspected cases and those exposed in Lbeuk village, of Puok district’s Donkeo commune — where the 41-year-old woman resides — revealed two more confirmed H5N1 cases: a 46-year-old woman and her 16-year-old son.

National and subnational rapid response teams from the health ministry, in cooperation with provincial agriculture department officials and local authorities, are actively investigating the outbreak. They are also responding with technical protocols, identifying sources of infection in both animals and humans, locating suspected cases and those exposed, preventing further community transmission, distributing Tamiflu to close contacts, and launching a health education campaign for villagers. –Asian News Network

But it seems like cases in the United States have fallen to zero, and we are hardly even hearing of the bird flu through the war news anymore.

Is The Bird Flu Threat Diminishing?

We’ve been questioning the reason for the lack of reporting on bird flu, after it seemed like this was going to be the next plandemic complete with mandatory vaccinations. In fact, scientists in the United States are getting concerned that there haven’t been any new human bird flu cases in over three months.

No Human Bird Flu Cases In 3 Months; Scientists Ask Why

This whole outbreak is playing out incredibly interestingly, especially in light of what was done during COVID. Not much is making any sense. It seems odd that they’d drop a money train like this, but war is always the empire’s first priority. What do you think? Will the mainstream media in the U.S. pick this issue back up and restart the fear-mongering? Or is it dead? Let us know in the comments!
